I have been drawing and scribbling since shortly after popping out of my mother, which is now some time ago. Having had some encouragement and little discouragement along the way it seemed like the natural path for me to take. Eventually, I attended Liverpool John Moores University for three years and gained a degree in Fine Art. I also gained a lasting distate for all things institutionally artistic and creative.
University sucked all the fun out of the creative process. It was only whilst spending the next couple of years traveling in the Far East and Eastern Europe that the urge to draw and create came upon me again. Along my travels I saw many strange, beautiful and bizarre sights but all with a sense of wonder.
It is this sense of wonder of the strange, beautiful and bizarre that I try to convey through my scribbles.
I find the best thing about the creative process is that it is constantly evolving. However, like a path that meanders up a steep slope, or the bend in a road in a strange city, you never quite know where it leads or what you will see when you get there. I never quite know what will drop out of my pen or pencil but it's usually, [whether strange, bizzare or plain] quite beautiful in itself. This is also the way I try to look at the world.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my artwork as much as I have enjoyed creating it. For any enquiries about purchasing prints, commissions or proposals of marriage, please feel free to contact me |here|. I'll be happy to oblige.
